Prevent faking of usernames

Hello

The cups server is installed and printing.
So far. So good. Now both local users,
unix users from other computers and
windows users want to use the server.

We want to use the cups server as an way to
know how printed how much. The page_log
tells the how much. But the who is
problematic. A local user for example can
use "lp -U ..." to fake the name.

The unix hosts share the account set. And
these accounts can be trusted. Can these
account information be used instead of
the user supplied username?

The windows boxes do not share an account
set an are only used by one person. Here
the real username could be generated from
the IP.

Is this possible with CUPS? What ways are
there to set something like this up?
