[cups.general] version 1.2.8 doesn't browsepollanymore? (sunos5.8)

I put version 1.2.8 on my main server and now it doesn't see any
of the local printers :-( . No change to config files...
Also saw stuff like...

E [22/Feb/2007:14:36:52 +0500] Missing <Job #> directive on line 15!
E [22/Feb/2007:14:36:52 +0500] Missing <Job #> directive on line 16!

Oh well reverting back to 1.2.7
Any suggestions on how I can better test this?
