[STR New]
hi!
the printer prints pages only until a centain amount of data is through,
then it stops printing. the led shows error-blinking, while there are no
errors filed by cups.
i suppose that there's a problem with the memory management between cups
and the printer, because the bigger the page data is, the earlyer the
error happens.
is there a possibility to change the way cups uses the printer memory? for
example make it stop sending data when it's full, or whatever goes wrong
there?
i'm using cups 1.2.6 with ghostscript-esp 8.15.3 and the oki4w driver on a
gentoo / kde3.5 machine with kernel 2.6.18-r4
i read that others have got this printer working, but i could not find
out, how. any ideas? i don't want to start windows everytime i need to
print!!!
cheers
felix
