[STR New]

See the following Ubuntu bug report:

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cupsys/+bug/57050

Ubuntu Feisty uses CUPS 1.2.7 currently.

The user complains about that his printer prints only one job and then he
has to power-cycle it to print the next job.

Later on the following comment showed up:

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The printer udev file exists and the device is still listed using lsusb,
after the printer no longer is listed with "lpinfo -v"

"crw-rw---- 1 root lp 180, 0 2007-02-15 13:53 /dev/usblp0"

And lsusb gives this

"Bus 002 Device 012: ID 04f9:001a Brother Industries, Ltd HL-1430 Laser
Printer"
---------------------------------------------------------------------

This shows that the USB backend lost track of the printer and therefore it
does not print any more.
