Hi,

i just found out that i can add printers manually via command line but they dont work actually.
when i am now trying to print via network ( i start a new cupsd on another pc and go to http://localhost:631/, i can print test pages on the network printers, BUT i get some server-error-internal-error )
i get this message in /var/log/cups/error_log:
D [23/Feb/2007:08:36:39 +0100] AcceptClient: 6 from ep320x.iis.fhg.de:443.

D [23/Feb/2007:08:36:39 +0100] CloseClient: 9

i also found out that i didnt install the cups backends ( which is weird because i dont need them on a SuSE 9.3 for cups to run properly ), so i did this but it still won't work.
i appreciate any help anyone can give :-)

best regards,

Peter
