Fail-over for Windows clients

I have two OpenSuse servers running as CUPS servers which I am administering with the web interface. On each server I have created a queue for a network connected Laserjet printer. From a Windows XP client I can connect to the print server, connect the printer and print.

I then created a class containing the two Laserjet printers and from the Windows client I can see the class advertised when I go 'Add Printer > Network Printer > Connect to this printer' and enter \\Printserver\ClassName however this then shown a dialog box that states "The server for the printer does not have the correct printer driver installed..........."

This is usually the case when I have added a printer but not exported the printers to Samba but in this case the class name is not shown.

Can classes of printers be used by Windows clients or is this just a Linux feature?
