[STR Closed w/o Resolution]

Connecting a computer directly to a dumb cable/DSL modem exposes the whole
computer to (at least) the ISP's network, which is why most ISPs provide
modems (and/or wireless APs) with a built-in firewall/router to block
broadcast traffic from the local computer(s).

At this point, we are not interested in extending the current "simple" UI
beyond "share locally" and "share over the the Internet" (something that
will appear in 1.3 soon). Adding a UI to select network interfaces will
only help users with multiple network cards that are using their system as
a router/firewall, and those users can just edit the cupsd.conf file
(using the web interface, if they so desire) to choose a different
BrowseAddress.
