When I print a test page to the default (and only) printer dj500 from
the CUPS http://localhost:631/printer
page I get 'quota limit reached'.

However, I can print from both lp and lpr.

Today I ran a one line script to disable quotas entirely although my
/etc/cups/cups.conf did not change except for the date.
The 1 line script:
	lpadmin -p dj500 -o job-k-limit=0   -o job-page-limit=0

FWIW I include my short cups.conf file:
root at kinda cups # m printers.conf
# Printer configuration file for CUPS v1.2.8
# Written by cupsd on 2007-07-21 16:17
<DefaultPrinter dj500>
Info HP DeskJet 500
DeviceURI parallel:/dev/lp0
State Idle
StateTime 1185050841
Accepting Yes
Shared Yes
JobSheets none none
QuotaPeriod 0
PageLimit 0
KLimit 0
AllowUser lba
AllowUser root
OpPolicy default
ErrorPolicy retry-job
</Printer>

Can anyone help me?

Larry
