Can't get Suse Linux Cups 1.2.7 to talk to Windows XP Printer

Hello,

I am trying to get Suse Linux 10.2 Cups 1.2.7 to print to an Epson 2200 on Windows XP SAMBA.

I am using the magic 631 port to configure cups.

Settings are Device: Windows Printer via SAMBA
             smb://username:password@workgroup/servername/printer (Not the real values)
             Etc...

Printer shows as idle, accepting jobs.  Job "stops", printer "stops", nothing shows on windows print queue.  Printer shows no signs of life.

All looks pretty normal to me so it has to be something stupid...
