Since I've been having problems with CUPS 1.2.4 I decided trying the
latest release (1.2.11) would be worth a shot [CentOS5]. Building the
RPMS with rpmbuild -ta... was no problem. Then upgrading the packages
went smoothly and all the existing printers seem to work.

But when I try to add a printer it gets to the last step where I pick a
model and then fails with "Unable to copy PPD file!"

I assume it is some path problem, but the messages don't give one much
to go on.

The file "p_LaserJet_4200_Series.ppd.gz" does exist
in /usr/share/cups/model/foomatic-db-ppds/HP/mono_laser/.
