error log code question

Hello.

I have cut and pasted my error log file interesting snippet below after printing a test page:

I [08/Jun/2007:20:39:48 -0400] Started filter /usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip (PID 1133) for job 167.
I [08/Jun/2007:20:39:48 -0400] Started backend /usr/lib/cups/backend/hp (PID 1134) for job 167.
E [08/Jun/2007:20:39:49 -0400] SLPReg of "Photosmart_C3100" failed with status -20!

I'm using the /etc/cups/ppd/Photosmart_C3100.ppd

My printer was working fine. I performed the online update using opensuse from 10.2 to 10.3 and then printing stopped working.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall CUPS and still no dice. I've added and removed printers and still no dice.

Any help on where to turn next? I'm thinking I might have to dive into the source code soon but I'm trying this route first.
