[cups.general] Strange behaviour

Goodmorning,

I'm seeing some strange behaviour from cups. The current situation is
as follows:

- 1 print server accepting & que-ing jobs for about 200 printers (Windows 2003)
- 3 Redhat AS3 boxes: these can't send jobs to this print server
directly because of some strange reason.
- 1 Redhat AS4 box: this one *can* send jobs to the printserver - this
one is  acting as a proxy for the AS 3 boxes - Cups is doing that
(working fine!)

Now we want a dedicated print-proxy for the AS3 boxes, so.. I setup a
new RH AS4 box, copied over the cups config directory including ppd
files. The cups server is accepting jobs and is trying to forward them
to the central print server. No go .. I'm getting this error in the
logfile:

Whereas:
- print-eu is the central print server
- mfvdh036 is the printer in question

The central print server is giving me the error "Illegal format". It's
not more then that...

Any clues?
