There's no simple solution, as System V LP has no real notion of
printer drivers, just interface scripts, and device connectivity is
not handled in any standard way.  For example, network printers tend
to point to /dev/null and have their interface scripts communicate
directly with the printer.

The best thing to do is add the printers by hand on your server, and
then use CUPS browsing to push those queues out to the client
systems.  The lpadmin command can still be used to add printers in
bulk, of course, but you just need to know what to use for the device
URI and PPD.
