Sorry, but no.  libtool is broken by design as it is, and we aren't
going to work around its limitations and potentially break conforming
apps in the process.

Report this bug to the libtool folks, please.  They need to fix
libtool to support Mac OS X.  We will not be changing CUPS to work
with a broken libtool.
