bad request line

I finally got rid of the encryption error I was getting by compiling openssl and cups 1.2.10. Now I'm getting

E [29/Mar/2007:20:49:38 -0400] Bad request line "Schachter" from 192.222.19.178!
D [29/Mar/2007:20:49:38 -0400] cupsdSendError: 12 code=400 (Bad Request)
D [29/Mar/2007:20:49:38 -0400] cupsdCloseClient: 12

when I try to print from my OS X client (to lpd://server/queue) my Ubuntu Linux 6.10 server (I can print from the server). I also have xinetd running cups-lpd.

Any ideas as to what's causing this and/or what I can do to fix it?
