usb/cups printer problem after upgrade

I had a similar problem. Maybe this will help you. In /etc/cups/printers.conf make sure you have a line like this:
DeviceURI file://dev/usb/lp0
The previous version had usb://... That doesn't work any more. Make sure it
has file://...
