[cups.general] Notification expiring to fast

Ok, the get-notifications ippget gives me a 10 second re-poll
time-out. If I obey to that time-out I miss the event.

My question is: How can I catch that job-completed event other that
subscribing to the printer, because the printer holds all of those for
quite a while.
