[cups.general] Unable to set page-limit

Im using debian lenny with cups 1.3.4 tried the next device and drivers :
CUPS-pdf + Genric Postscript color printer rev4
Oki 14ex + cuos+gutenprint 5.0.1

both with the same problem :
I can still print as many i want (more then one)
