MacOSX 10.5: Cups printing stops at 99%

Hello,

On macOSX Tiger I used Cups to print over Apples AirportExpress (wired, 
not wireless) and it worked.
Now on 10.5. (Leopard) the printjob stops at 99% for three minutes and 
finishes then.
Can anyone give me hints for a workaround?
