This issue is similar to #2459.  

When user uses an smb printer with a password containing a # character,
the # character should be prefixed with \\.  This works fine when cups
first starts.  However, if printers.conf is rewritten by cupsd, the
content of the line including and after the # is lost, and no further jobs
can be printed.  This even occurs if the # is correctly protected with \\,
leaving a uri that ends just after the \\.
