Which is the CUPS default for good reason, see

Which can cause endless re-prints of the same job e.g. when the
recipient - usually the printer - fails to shut down the
communication correctly at the end of the job.

I some particular environments another ErrorPolicy can help
to mitigate bad consequences of communication problems with
particular printers (i.e. have another ErrorPolicy for a
particular print queue) but another default CUPS ErrorPolicy
seems to cause more new problems than to solve old problems.

The more I think about it, the less I like the idea to "solve" it
via another default CUPS ErrorPolicy, see
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=337794#c16

I think that that the backends should be more robust against
possibly transient errors - in particular when it is about
to establish the communication with its recipient.

Kind Regards
