Which printer driver is installed?
If you don't know look into your ppd or interface directory.
You can also look into the cups web interface (http://your.computer:631).

Look into your cups error_log file to find the exact problem (/var/log/cups/error_log). Maybe you forgot to install ghostscript (pstoraster) or another filter, which is needed.

Depends on which printer driver you are using. The ssl directory is only important if encryption is used.
