Thank you for the reply. I've read both of those, and my grep statement parses the error log, but that doesn't help me receive notification unless I use some ugly bash scripting or something :-).

The notifications sound like what I want, and I'm getting closer. I finally was able to get into the CUPS web administration, and realized I'm on v1.2. Are notifications supported? subscriptions.conf wasn't in the folder on my system, so I created a new file and put in what I thought should work, but I still don't receive any notifications. Is there an interface to edit/setup subscription notifications, or am I just supposed to use the text editor? How do I make them work if I'm not actually receiving anything? This is what I put in the file to test:

<Subscription 1>
        Events job-completed
        Interval 30
        Recipient mailto:myemailaddress at mydomain.com
        UserData mailto:myemailaddress<40>mydomain.com
</Subscription>

and yet I haven't received anything. Is there a way via the web admin to set up subscriptions? Thanks for the continued help and support!
