Zebra label printint too slow !

Hello,

I am working with a Zebra LP2844 on cups using EPL2 driver, everything works fine and printing is fast BUT the problem is the page break ...

For each label, the printer stops, rewind a little and then print !
As we print multiple label at a time, each page -break takes a long time.

is it possible to avoid this, having the label printer to print all the pages non stop ? Or anybody have any idea on how to change this ?
