cups as relay (to existing Win print server)

I want to add printers to multiple Linux servers that would be used by multiple users at various locations to print reports. Looking at the number of printers (~500), I was wondering if there is a way to re-use the existing winprint01's queues.

Can this be done? In other words, is there a way I can use the CUPS on Linux to relay the print requests to the windows print server?

However, when I add a new printer to cups, I have to add a driver for the printer. Is there a way to avoid adding drivers for all the 500 printers?

What could be a possible solution?
Any ideas/comments?
