64 bit Builds

> I'm new to 64 bit linux issues, so please forgive my ignorance. I have a customer that is using a 64 bit version of Novell Suse 9. Is it required to have a 64 bit build of my driver in order for it to work or can the 32 bit build work?

32 bit SHOULD work, since the CPU has compatiable mode for this.
