Print share not accessible

I am using CUPS 1.3.9 under Mandriva 2009. I have tried to set up a printer on my home network. the machine to which the printer is set is 192.168.1.100. I am on 192.168.1.104. When I set up the printer as an IPP (ipp://192.168.1.100:631/printers/HPDesJet9800) and try to access it, I get the message: INACCESSIBLE: the print share is not accessible.

The server on 192.168.1.100 is on CUPS 1.3.6. On a previous version of Mandriva, the cups server was easily set up and connected to this printer without a problem. As I am a newbie, I am not certain how to approach this error message and what to do next. I appreciate any information more knowledgeable people can give me. Thank you all in advance.
