Printing to SMB shares on Win from Mac

Hello,

Here is my situation:

On MAC:tiger, using SMB shares to my printers on a server, the system worked flawlessly. No questions, etc.

On MAC:leopard, using the exact same shares, MAC prompts me for a username and password (besides what was in the SMB share path).

I know that this seems more like a MAC OS problem, but With the new version of OS X came a new version of Cups.

Does anyone know a solution to turning off the authentication when printing or know if this is a CUPS/samba matter or OS X?
