The other alternative, then, as I understand, is that I could create a custom backend and then have my dummy printer use it. Unfortunately, I have been attempting to find a comprehensive tutorial for this for a few days, but have not found anything. The man pages and native CUPS documentation haven't helped me much in this regard. Would anyone know the location of a good document explaining how to create one? Again, thanks in advance.
