[STR New]

I've installed cups on Debian testing and Sarge into /opt/cups with
following options:
../configure --prefix=/opt/cups --with-rcdir=/opt/cups/etc/init.d
The user/group for cups is lp/lp.
I setup a printer and got the following errors in error_log when I tried
to print:
E [18/Feb/2008:15:43:35 +0100] PID 29092
(/opt/cups/lib/cups/filter/pstops) stopped with status 1!
E [18/Feb/2008:15:43:35 +0100] [Job 2] Unable to open file
"/opt/cups/var/spool/cups/d00002-001" - Permission denied
The directory /opt/cups/var/spool created by make install has the rights:
axel at machine:~$ ls -ld /opt/cups/var/spool/
drwx--x--- 3 root root 1024 2008-02-19 10:39 /opt/cups/var/spool
Therefor it cannot be accessed by lp.
After setting the rights of /opt/cups/var/spool to 644 everything is fine.

regards
Axel
