CUPS process dies very quickly.

Hello.

I'm using cups 1.2.7 on a Debian GNU/Linux system with a Brother
HL-2030. Somehow, I do not know why, the cups process only lasts for a
couple of seconds or minutes. I've been unable to print a test page.

Any suggestions?
