lpinfo -v shows no parallel printer

Hello!

I'm trying to use CUPS 1.3.5 on FreeBSD 7.0-RC1 (i386) to print to HP Laserjet 6P printer which is connected via parallel port. FreeBSD's standard '/usr/sbin/lptest' successfully prints, but lpinfo -v shows no locally attached printers:

# lpinfo -v
network socket
network http
network ipp
network lpd

Consequently, I am unable to add my local printer using the CUPS web interface.

Permissions for /dev/lpt0 are set so:
crw-rw---- 1 root cups 0, 56 Jan 23 23:25 /dev/lpt0

But cupsd seems to be running as root anyway...
