Using Cups and Samba for Kyocera - A4 doesn't work

For the Windows boxes, you need to set the *default* paper size to A4.
You probably need admin rights (at least in WinXP) to modify the
default settings. Details how to avoid the possible pitfalls you may
see on the CUPS printing howto on

The better way is to first configure your PPD in CUPS and then use
cupsaddsmb to install the printers on the Win boxes. But be aware the
cupsaddsmb *must* conform to the cups version you use.

A 3rd alternate would be to set up an INF file based installation
folder (contact me off the NG for details).
