having a problem with X64

I'm working on migrating my 1.2.9 installation to 1.3.5, hoping to
improve X64 and Mac OSX support. I'm running the cups server on gentoo.
Point and Print support seems to work fine for w32x86 (XP clients), but
not for x64 (WinXP 64-bit). I've installed the cups-windows-6.0 gentoo
package, but it doesn't include the x64 drivers. I put a copy of the
four files which I grabbed from an x64 client in
/usr/share/cups/drivers/x64. When I run cupsaddsmb, the files get
copied to /var/lib/samba/printers/X64 and /var/lib/samba/printers/X64/3,
seemingly correctly. But when I try to do a Point and Print install
from the x64 client, I get the standard message "the server for 'foo'
printer does not have the correct printer driver installed". I've been
having trouble finding specific information on getting x64 to work. Can
anybody tell me what else to look at or what step I might be missing?

Here are my package versions:
cups: 1.3.5
hplip: 2.7.12
foomatic-filters-ppds: 20070501
samba: 3.0.28
cups-windows: 6.0

Thanks.
Seth

PS - The upgrade to 1.3.5 has fixed my old problem of printing from
Acrobat Reader 8.0, so I am making progress.
