Error with Ghostscript

hi,

I have a AIX 5.3. Ghostscript doesnot compile when given make command.
Here are the errors:

# make

libcupsimage is present in usr/lib. and the PATH is mapped to /usr/lib.

which path is being searched for libcupsiimage.
Please help.
