Hello,

On Friday June 20 2008, henri wrote to cups at easysw.com:

I could ot find anything about sharing, but I assumed you meant
publish, which was on for all printers.

On the cups home page I found some information in the HOW-TOs
[article #230], which helped me a bit further. But I still
have a small problem.
The client now sees the printers on the server and puts them
into /etc/printcap. When I print something on the server to a
printer on the client, it gets put into the print queue. In
ps ax I see:
 5354 ? S 0:00 ipp://duinheks.nl:631/printers/lp 5 root (stdin)
1 job-hold-until=no-hold job-priority=50 number-up=1
job-uuid=urn:uuid:7cd09590-f764-3e72-47a2-40ae60cd9b85 job-sheets=none,none
lease-duration=300 /var/spool/cups/d00005-001
But it never gets printed on the server.
In the servers access_log I see a lot of entries like
192.168.178.220 - - [21/Jun/2008:10:52:20 +0200] "POST /printers/lp HTTP/1.1"
403 0 - -
This looks like an error message to me.
What is the next thing I could try?

Regards,

           Hans.
