Well, it *IS* possible, I saw it myself :(
It does not happen with every image file, but it goes wrong
with most of them, of various types.

Sure. I zipped up 070828-122245-c2.jpg, PhotoA4.ppd, lpoptions
and printers.conf.

I hope that you can give a solution. It's been bothering me
for quite some time now, over a year I believe. But I didn't
have the energy to do much thinking about it, but booted up
an old system when I needed it. But now holiday time is coming
up...
