Hello,
he> See if you can print something from the server, then if that
he> works you will just need to work out why the client is unable
he> to print.
I've tried to get some more information by getting debug info
from the server.
On the client I see in the error_log:
E [24/Jun/2008:15:36:29 +0200] [Job 11] Unable to get printer status
(Forbidden)
On the server:
D [24/Jun/2008:15:38:20 +0200] cupsdReadClient: 7 POST /printers/lp HTTP/1.1
D [24/Jun/2008:15:38:20 +0200] cupsdAuthorize: No authentication data
provided.
D [24/Jun/2008:15:38:20 +0200] cupsdSendError: 7 code=403 (Forbidden)
D [24/Jun/2008:15:38:20 +0200] cupsdCloseClient: 7
D [24/Jun/2008:15:38:30 +0200] cupsdAcceptClient: 7 from 192.168.178.220:631
(IPv4)
This looks as if it's an authorisation problem. On both I have in
cupsd.conf:
DefaultAuthType None
I'm still stuck. Does anubody have any bright ideas and can tell
me what I'm doing wrong?
Regards,
Hans.
