[cups.general] cups Install on HPUX 11.23

Install worked, changed INSTALL in the Makedefs file to use install-sh.
Thanks
Question
Used --prefix=/usr/local/cups when running configure. Being cups was not
installed in the system directories, is it possible to run cups along side
the current print system? I would like to configure and test printing
before using it.
Thanks

The option "-d" shoudl only be used with the $BUILD_DIR/install.sh
for checking/creating the needed directories and not passed to the
cp command.

Hmm, looks like the "install" command that configure found doesn't
support creation of directories. Edit Makedefs and point INSTALL to
the install-sh in the source directory.
