CUPS ssl

I am trying to configure cups with ssl on RedHatEL 4. I hvae a doubt about the port..!!
Apache is running on that server so 443 is used by it..
So, can i use 631 for ssl?
if yes, how do i configure the same
and if not, how can other ports be used for cups with ssl?

if in the /etc/cups/cupsd.conf I mention other port suppose 10443 fos ssl
how is the client supposed to know that ?
