Hi,

We have a CUPS print server (1.3.6) on a Linux Debian server, the server
manages three laser printers, two black and white, one color (Epson
AcuLaser).

We have no problems to print from the Linux and Mac OS X clients, but
with Windows clients we have regular problems especially with the color
printer.

For printing from Windows clients the option "application/octet-stream"
is uncommented in the files "mime.types" and "mime.convs".

With Windows clients I tried:

- With Epson drivers, it's missing from time to time the last page,
strange !!! :o)

- With MS Publisher Imagesetter driver, the colors are changed and false.

- With the Adobe driver, printing is in black and white.

- With the CUPS-Windows-6.0 driver, printing is in black and white.

My question is : Can we have a native CUPS client for Windows as there
are for Linux and Mac OS X?

A native CUPS client who does not use printer manufacturers drivers, and
which sends to the CUPS server PostScript or PDF files.

Regards.
