[STR New]

I am using a fedora 8 box using CUPS 1.3.6-4 and cupdlpd as a print server
for Solaris 9 ansd 10 clients. From the server I can enter lp -dprinter
-olandscape /etc/hosts and I get the output landscape. Printing using the
Solaris clients the output is portrait, network traces show that the
Olandscape command is being received by the print server. If I set up one
of the Solaris boxes as the print server running standard SysV enter lp
-dprinter -olandscape /etc/hosts and I get the output landscape from
either the Solaris print server or the remote client. Using lp -dprinter
-olandscape /etc/hosts from the fedora box as a client to the Solaris
print server the output id portrait and network traces show that the
Olandscape command is not sent from the CUPS client.

This seems like a bug to me but I am willing to entertain the idea that I
may have something configured wrong (though I don't know what that worl
be). Is there anyone out there that can tell me how I can use CUPS as a
print server and have the -o options available to the remote clients?

Thanks.
