[cups.general] Erro Format

I install now the printer Samsung SCX-4521 i install in cups 1.4b1 no
problem to print the linux with cups but when i try print the win xp i
received this error someone know how the solution this error
before the answers i search in google i find this solution

Make sure you've enabled support for Windows PCL drivers. Uncomment
application/octet-stream in /etc/cups/mime.types and uncomment
application/octet-stream in /etc/cups/mime.convs.



but this mime.* archive dont have in the Cups 1.4b1 case someone know the
another solution answer me.
