Once a remote printer is setup, it is not possible to access the printer
functions on the local machine through the web interface (without copying,
pasting and editing the URL to change the remote URL back to the local
machine). Starting, stopping and deleting the printer, as well as
canceling all jobs on the local machine is very difficult.

Simply adding a link like, [Local Definition] to the printer line for
remote printers would be very useful.
