The file http://ftp.easysw.com/pub/cups/1.3.8/cups-1.3.8-source.tar.bz2 seems corrupted. Tar test don't report the same error on MacOS X and FreeBSD but the archive is reported as corrupted. The gz file can be used. The problem is that the install procedure use the bz2 file by default. -- regisr
