I have been running Cups with OpenSuse 11.0+ successfully on a dual xeon system for some time until last weekend (Sept 13, 2008) update to 1.3.7 . (it was 1.37 before and its 1.3.7 still) Suddenly I no longer have printing privileges for any user or any program. Except I can print the test page from the web interface as root.

Yours is the third report of this problem, but unfortunately we have
been unable to reproduce it. I'd start by reporting the problem to
the SuSE folks, and provide them with the /var/log/cups/error_log
file from your system.
