[cups.general] CUPS-Get-Default client-error-not-found unable to use print options

The driver (if you're talking about the PPD) works fine since I can use
the options in CUPS 1.1.22 on RHEL 4

As for the filter, I wouldn't even know where to start to debug this,
I'm just using the default install that comes with RHEL 5, could I be
missing an RPM that has the correct one?

Thanks.

CUPS does, but the filter/driver you are using doesn't.
