Failure to Print Multiple Copiee with Raw Option

> only one copy prints. Multiple copies works fine when omitting the raw option. I first observed this with v1.2.4 on RHEL5/CentOS5 and verified it also occurs with v1.3.7(OpenSuSE 11.0, Fedora 9) and, based on previous postings to this forum, downloaded the latest v1.4 development version, compiled it on RHEL5.1, and verified that the problem persists.
