How do I get cups to print color on my laser MFP

I just got a laser printer from Dell. it is a 1235cn MFP. I am using the Samsung unified driver for CLX-3175FW that is the same printer for Dell (made by Samsung for dell). It prints BW great but not color. how do I get it to print color. the ubuntu 9.04 test page lists color bars that are black. thanks
