CUPS Driver updates process

First, let me apologize if this information is available on this site or in the forums. I was unable to find it in my searches of the forum and documentation.

My question is, once I submit a link, what is the process afterwards to get the updates into the next release of CUPS? I have already created the link, but I am not sure if there is anything else I need to do, or if someone will review the updates and contact me then.
